Cable is expensive. Fact. I know of a few people who dropped cable completely and decided to watch all their shows online, without the loss of convenience and they’re saving hundreds of dollars a month! I read an article over at TechCrunch where it’s estimated that over 800,000 households in the US abandoned their TVs for the web; and if this continues, the cable companies should be very worried.
Here’s an excerpt from the article:
With an increasing selection of high-quality TV fare coming online, more people are experimenting with ditching their TVs (or more accurately, their cable and satellite TV subscriptions) for online options such as Hulu, Netflix, broadcaster Websites, or Apple’s iTunes.
It’s a very interesting article. Click Here to read the rest.
