I’m genuinely excited right now! DRIFTERS has been finished since January 2010, and I’ve essentially been sitting on the film since then. I felt like the film screamed summer so I thought I’d wait until the summertime to begin showing the film. The thought of watching a sunny film while surrounded by snow seemed boring to me. Although I can see how that would have been enticing as well!
Organizing the premiere for my last film TWIST OF FATE was a nightmare. Organizing the premiere for a film period is a nightmare! So right now I’m at the beginning stage of getting a Premiere Party off the ground for Drifters. Compared to Twist of Fate, Drifters is a very small film, so I’m assuming getting the Premiere Party off the ground will be easier, but then again I assumed the filming process for Drifters would be easy as well. It wasn’t.
I’m aiming for something fun and interactive. A very social experience. It’s not going to be easy planning the Premiere Parties for Drifters *I want to do more than 1* , but hopefully I’ll look back on this post and say to myself at the end of the day…. It was worth it.
PS: As of Friday, I’ve just started working on the FINAL TRAILER for the film. It blows the Teaser Trailer out the water in my opinion! Can’t wait for you to see it!
